1. Lenah Studio Policies

Lenah is designed to be a welcoming, focused environment where girls can move, reset, and build confidence together. The following policies help ensure a positive experience for everyone.

Arrival & Class Start

Please arrive 5 minutes before class begins so participants can settle in and be ready to start on time.

If a participant arrives more than 10 minutes late, entry may not be permitted in order to maintain the flow and safety of the class.

What to Wear

Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for easy movement.

Bare feet or grip socks are recommended for yoga-based movement.

Class Environment

Lenah classes are designed to be supportive, focused, and encouraging.

We ask participants to:

• respect instructors and fellow students

• remain present during class

• help maintain a positive and welcoming environment

If behavior disrupts the class or creates a safety concern, instructors may speak with the participant and contact parents if necessary.

Parent Observation

To support focus and independence, parents are generally asked to drop off and pick up after class rather than remain in the studio.

Occasional observation opportunities may be offered during special events.

Pick-Up

Participants should be picked up promptly at the end of class.

If someone other than the parent or guardian will be picking up a child, please notify the studio in advance.

Missed Classes

If a class is missed, we may offer a make-up option when space allows, though make-ups cannot always be guaranteed.

Respect for the Space

Lenah is designed to feel calm and welcoming for every girl who walks through the door.

We ask all participants to help care for the space by:

• placing mats and props back after class

• keeping voices respectful

• supporting the positive culture of the studio

2. Instructor Code of Conduct

This protects you, your teachers, and the children.

Lenah Instructor Code of Conduct

Lenah instructors play an important role in creating a safe, encouraging, and respectful environment for all participants.

All instructors agree to uphold the following standards.

Professional Conduct

Instructors will:

• maintain a professional and respectful relationship with all participants

• model positive behavior and communication

• create a welcoming environment for girls of all backgrounds and abilities

Appropriate Interaction

Instructors will:

• use clear verbal instruction and visual demonstration

• offer encouragement and constructive guidance

• maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times

Physical adjustments are limited and will always be respectful and appropriate.

Safety

Instructors prioritize the physical and emotional safety of all participants by:

• providing clear instruction

• avoiding unsafe movement patterns

• maintaining awareness of the group environment

Confidentiality

Instructors will respect the privacy of participants and families and will not share personal information outside the studio environment.

Role Modeling

Lenah instructors model the values of the studio:

strength

steadiness

confidence

respect

3. Parent Communication Policy

This sets expectations so you don’t get overwhelmed by parent messages.

Parent Communication

Lenah aims to maintain clear and thoughtful communication with families.

Parents will receive:

• class reminders

• occasional updates about studio events

• periodic insights about tools or themes explored in class

If parents have questions or concerns, they are welcome to contact the studio via email.

Because classes are active and instructor attention is focused on the participants, longer conversations may be scheduled outside of class time when needed.
